The Golden Rule
The Golden Rule as I learned it as a child, states,
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
or
Treat others as you would have them treat you.
or
Treat others as you would have them treat you.
Mathematically, logically and ethically you can show that the above statements are equivalent to the following:
See everyone as yourself.
Which is the ultimate doctrine of non-duality.
So I find it amusing that that which is true for all time, and all places, and to all beings, is expressed in seemingly different ways.
You might notice that the above statements are equivalent to:
See God In Each Other
or
Tat Twam Asi
or
Tat Twam Asi
Neat, isn't it?

Perhaps it's the tomAto/TOMaTO thingy going on. Six of one, half a dozen of the other.
???
The One has become many and the many have become One. (That took me a couple of years to get my head around!!) :)
